Customer Care Administrator, Debbie Hardman, is celebrating 40 years’ service at Chadwicks.
With only six office staff in the company when she joined, Debbie’s initial workload was varied, involving everything from managing reception to raising orders. As the company began to expand and grow its customer base overseas, Debbie moved into a dedicated customer-focussed, internal sales and exports role. Today she manages accounts in the UK, Scandanavia, Israel, the Middle East, Africa, Indonesia, Spain, Portugal and the US.
Reflecting on her time at Chadwicks, Debbie says: “I’ve seen lots of change over the years as the business has evolved from a basic lids and milk bottle tops supplier to the largest pre-cut lids manufacturer in the UK investing in the very latest print technology and lidding materials.
“Highlights for me over the years have included the opening of our new production facility, receiving the prestigious Queen’s Award for Export and several opportunities to travel overseas.
“I really enjoy the job I do. There is always a challenge – and never more so given the current situation we all find ourselves in – but it means life is never boring! We are one big team which works together well and that is how we’ve got to where we are today.”
